RACE INSPIRED HULL
DESIGN:
•
Very sharp entry slices through chop and
offshore waves
•
Air keel step located directly below the
console ventilates the wetted surface to
reduce running draft
•
Aft planing pad adds to performance and
reduces fuel consumption
•
17 degree dead rise at the transom
•
Highest gunnel height of any bay boat (21”)
making it more versatile to venture offshore
in safety.
What do these hull features mean to you….
The Triple Tail 260 jumps on plane like a BAT OUT
OF HELL within one boat length! It turns on a
dime, cruises at 36 mph with low horsepower (200
Hp), and encroaches 50 MPH at wide open
throttle! And….is the SLEEKEST boat on the
water!
RULE THE WATER
BOLTED, NOT SCREWED: Console and livewell are
bolted to the deck before assembly. This is
extremely important when towers and t-tops are
installed to ensure they do not crack or lift off the
deck.
PLATES IN DECK: Long aluminum plates are
glassed in the deck where added accessories may
be installed after-market. This makes for a more
secure fit of these products.
INTERNAL FLANGES: Console and livewell have
internal flanges so screws are visible on the deck.
The flanges lend way to a waterproof seal, and
stronger connection. They also allow more deck
space to walk around.
TRANSOM: Industry standard coosa board is
sandwiched with layers of fiberglass for unwavering
strength.
LAYOUT:
•
Forward anchor locker
•
Large twin side compartments with foreword
facing backrests and seat cushions
•
Extra large bow center compartment (a
person can fit inside!)
•
Aft seating with removable backrests
•
Front console cooler seat with backrest
•
Under leaning post cooler
•
Leaning post with hinged backrest for more
aft walk around room
•
36 gallon livewell
•
Console designed for head inside.
•
Console height allows a comfortable
standing area for upper station tower
without needing pipe to support a platform
that hinders view from the bottom station.
•
Console designed to accept two 12” gps
screens.
•
Internal flange on console allows for cleaner
look with no exposed screw on the deck
•
Huge amount of space to walk around
console
PERSONAL NOTE:
I am a father of two boys who started out diving
and freediving at 15 years old. We are on the
water every chance we get. I have owned many
types of boats in my life as well as worked on
thousands through my original company Aqua
Shade Marine Inc. which has been in operation
for 20 years. As the boys got older, now 20 and
22 years old, they wanted to take the boats out
on their own. They are mainly offshore
freedivers now and I feel completely at ease
when they take the Captain out. (I used to be the
captain and now I have been replaced by the
King Captain 260!) Each boat we build means
something to me and I take pride in the fact that
we at King Boatworks LLC can add to the
adventure of your life! I say “adventure” because
with the boat you are not limited.
Thank you,
