HIGH BOW: Allows for heavy loads offshore without swamping the boat in swells. You never take a wave over this bow!FLARED GUNWALES: deflects water making for a very dry ride.DELTA PAD: many race boats today have “pad” on the bottom of their boat for increased speed and efficiency. It’s basically a flat area that reduces the surface area of water touching the boat creating a faster and more efficient ride. The delta pad is shaped like a wing which helps it track better and skip across the water on plane. This delta pad also adds to its shallow draft capabilities.
RULE THE WATER
BOLTED, NOT SCREWED: Console and livewell are bolted to the deck before assembly. This is extremely important when towers and t-tops are installed to ensure they do not crack or lift off the deck. PLATES IN DECK: Long aluminum plates are glassed in the deck where added accessories may be installed after-market. This makes for a more secure fit of these products.INTERNAL FLANGES: Console and livewell have internal flanges so screws are visible on the deck. The flanges lend way to a waterproof seal, and stronger connection. They also allow more deck space to walk around. TRANSOM: Industry standard coosa board is sandwiched with layers of fiberglass for unwavering strength.
BUILD:
UNSINKABLE/BULLETPROOF!!Walk next to any of your popular production boats and hit the side with your hand. You will feel a vibration run through the hull as the hull pushes in. Guess what happens when a wave hits it? Not in a King!!ANGLED SIDES: Triples in strength compared to conventional flat sides..FOAM FILLED: Our foam filled commercial built boats are filled to the top of the gunwales making it unsinkable and super strong.STRINGER SYSTEM: Unmatched in the industry. We have a molded stringer system with flanges. These flanges are puttied on the hull and also glassed in with two or more layers of structural fiberglass. No boat company takes these added steps. The unseen stringers are the backbone to your boat and we wouldn’t have it any other way
PERSONAL NOTE:I am a father of two boys who started out diving and freediving at 15 years old. We are on the water every chance we get. I have owned many types of boats in my life as well as worked on thousands through my original company Aqua Shade Marine Inc. which has been in operation for 20 years. As the boys got older, now 20 and 22 years old, they wanted to take the boats out on their own. They are mainly offshore freedivers now and I feel completely at ease when they take the Captain out. (I used to be the captain and now I have been replaced by the King Captain 260!) Each boat we build means something to me and I take pride in the fact that we at King Boatworks LLC can add to the adventure of your life! I say “adventure” because with the boat you are not limited.Thank you,Tom RussinKing Boatworks LLC
